We have healing services on the last Sunday of every month. These include healing prayers (for ourselves, our neighbors, our city, and our world) as well as a time of annointing.
We are reminded frequently throughout scripture that healing is not just of pain and physcial ailments, but that divine healing is for our bodies, minds, relationships and souls. In fact, healing is not really about the removal of pain or a return to normalcy, but is fundamentally concerned with experiencing meaningful connections to others and to God. These are relationships that are too often broken for a variety of reasons and because of a multitude of stressors in our lives.
