Co-Pastors Installed During October 3 Worship
Bethesda Covenant Church's Sunday worship on October 3 included a celebration of World Communion Sunday, as well as the official installation service of co-pastors Amy and Adam Rohler. Rev. Bob Dvorak, superintendent of the East Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church, gave the sermon. During the installation service, both pastors gave a brief testimony of their call to ministry, the church members and pastors said vows of committment, and the members and friends of the church laid hands on their pastors in prayer.
Special music was provided by member Deanna Santos, who sang in Latin "Holy Bread." There were breads from different countries around the world for communion, and potluck followed the service.
