Several men from Bethesda Covenant Church enjoyed a relaxing weekend of worship, teaching, golf, good food, and watching the Presidential debates during the annual Men's Retreat at Pilgrim Pines in New Hampshire.
From October 8-10, three men from Bethesda Covenant found themselves in the midst of a divine creation painting as they traveled north to New Hampshire through the changing fall colors. At the retreat of over 100 men coming from churches all over New England, all were challenged by Larry Johnson to realize there are things outside of our control, but not outside of God's power. The retreat included free time to relax, sleep, read, play golf, and pray, as well as a healing service with a time of testimonials, and an ending celebration of Holy Communion.
This retreat is held annually, so mark your October calendars for next year's men's retreat.
