Bethesda's scheduled UN Sunday Guest Speaker, Jm Sundholm is resting comfortably at home following what he describes as a minor stroke early last Thursday morning.
“I am recovering very nicely,” Sundholm said. “My concern is that when people hear the word stroke, they often think the worst. My doctor calls this a healthy man’s stroke,” he notes, as it has not inflicted long-term damage and provides an opportunity to complete further tests and determine what corrective actions may need to be taken."
On doctor's orders, Sundholm will be unable to fly to New York to celebrate United Nations Sunday with Bethesda Covenant Church. Our prayers are with him and we look forward to rescheduling our time with him. Our UN Sunday and weekend plans will continue, however. Please join us as we celebrate UN Sunday with prayers, special music, and an international potluck.
