Join Bethesda Covenant Church as we partner with NY CARES to give the city a spring cleaning. Paint, clean and revitalize parks, gardens, playgrounds, community centers, homeless shelters, and schools that need help. Bring your co-workers, your friends or come on your own.
Who: You, our church, your friends and coworkers, and 5,500 +other caring New Yorkers
What Will We Be Doing: Planting 1000 seedlings and putting up protective fencing, partnering with other teams and “Million Trees NYC”
Where: Pelham Bay Park, Bronx
When: Saturday, April 12 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
NOTE: Because our site is so far away via public transportation, there will be a bus to the site that leaves on Sat. morning at 8:45am (from 214 W. 29th St. betw. 7th & 8th Ave) from the NY Cares offices. You must arrive by 8:45 to be registered and board the bus! (otherwise, you're on your own for arriving there by 9:30).
Cost: Free (but please bring a $5 donation to cover t-shirt)

1. Decide you are going to join Bethesda’s team and devote Saturday April 12 to making NYC better.
2. Visit the NY Cares website by clicking here, then follow instructions for joining a an existing team. You will be asked for your e-mail, phone and address info. An e-mail will be sent to you confirming that you have registered.
