Monthly Meals at Bethesda. Fridays at 7:00pm.
Join us as we meet once a month on FRIDAYS at a different ethnic restaurant to experience the diversity of Midtown cuisine and the enjoyment of each other’s company. Invite friends, neighbors & colleagues (we promise to keep it reasonably priced and fun!) So far, we've eaten Indian, Mexican, Japanese, Ethiopian, Balkan, BBQ, Italian, Sri Lankan, Chinese, Moroccan, and the list keeps growing (New York is the best city!) So join us!

Outreach
Bethesda's Outreach Ministry team takes leadership in the area of outreach--helping the lost, the hurting, and the stranger. Our mission is to organize activities that educate and empower the congregation to reach out to others in compassion, mercy, evangelism, and justice.

Prayer
Bethesda's Prayer Ministry team prays for our church and those individuals who are part of our community. Our prayer life is vital to our relationship with God and mission in the city.

Wednesday Night Shalom
Every Wednesday evening we gather together as a community to seek out a peace that is beyond our understanding, the kind of flourishing of life that only comes from God. We are looking for an integrated and complete life, and hope that our "Wednesday Night Shalom" group will be one instrument for finding it. Join us for our current topic - "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About God, the Church, and What it Means to be Human But Were Afraid to Ask." Ever wondered why you believe what you do about God? Or your faith? Or what it means to be a community of faith? Ever consider what your gut instincts were when it came to theology? Ever had a question about spirituality, that you've never had an opportunity to ask? Our Wednesday Night Shalom group starts a new study this week as we explore the basics of theology and what we believe. Each week we will explore a different spiritual topic or controversial issue--ranging from the problem of evil to whether or not God has a gender to how would Jesus vote. All are welcome, and you don't have come every time--just when you can. And if you want to weigh in on a topic or just keep updated on our discussions, go to our blog and read or comment: http://www.guttheology.blogspot.com. Wednesdays at 7pm at 2322 7th Avenue; call the church office for more information! 212.234.9764.

Worship
During our Sunday worship, we gather to tell God's story of salvation and how our life stories interact in God's larger story.
